John Primer and Bob CorritoreCrawlin' Kingsnake, the new album from John Primer & Bob Corritore, is old school Chicago blues at its best, and perhaps the best album we will hear this year. It's this month's Pick Hit.

Our Surprise pick for the month, One Guitar Woman, from Sue Foley is a beautiful collection of 12 songs honoring some of the great woman guitarists in multiple genres. It's superb.

Mavis Staples recorded an album, Have A Little Faith, for Alligator Records 20 years ago, and this month's Flashback has been re-mastered and re-issued.

Our What's New section features new albums from Mike Zito, Eric Bibb, Seth James, Katie Henry, Altered Five Blues Band, Jeff Rogers, Rick Vito, JJ Grey & Mofro, and more, plus great singles from Tad Robinson and Elliott Sharp's Terraplane.
