Chris Cain has put out what might be the album of the year, and perhaps the best of his career. Good Intentions Gone Bad is this month's Pick Hit.

The Fabulous Thunderbirds have been around for fifty years (50!) with their new album, Struck Down, being our Surprise pick for the month.

This month's Flashback pulls from the Blues Bytes archives a review of the debut album from Canadian band Bywater Call. It's so good that the review deserved to be published a second time.
