Louisiana blues singer / keyboardist Sonny Gullage debuts with the incredible album Go Be Free, with Blind Pig Records getting back into the blues mainstream. It's this month's Pick Hit.

It's been quite a year for Nashville blues cats Piper & The Hard Times. After winning the International Blues Challenge, they've released a very fine album, Revelation, our Surprise pick for the month.

This month's Flashback re-issues some classic 1980s recordings by Louisiana legends The Tail Gators.

Our What's New section features new albums from the really fine Toronto soul/blues band The Imagine If, Bobby Christina's Caravan, Billy Price, The Pontchartrain Shakers, Mark Hummel, Jubu Smith, Johnny Ray Jones, and more.
