Baton Rouge blues cat Chris Thomas King comes back to his roots with this month's Surprise hit. Alligator Records is giving us a second chance at Long John Hunter's fabulous 1993 CD, Ride With Me, reviewed in our Flashback section. Anything new from Keb' Mo' is always welcome at Blues Bytes headquarters, and his third CD for Okeh is another strong collection of tunes. On the reissue front, MCA improves an already incredible track record by releasing a couple of classic Excello albums. These and more are highlighted in our What's New section.
