Oklahoma blues/jazz violinist Claude Williams shows no signs of slowing down now that he's into his 90s, and his new CD on Bullseye Blues & Jazz is our Surprise of the month. Vanguard's classic Chicago - The Blues Today collection from the 1960s has now been re-packaged, and is certainly deserving of a serious review in this month's Flashback section. This month's What's New section features reviews of new CDs from Coco Montoya, Paul deLay, Troy Turner, and a re-issue of L+R's great Living Country Blues series.
