The Blues Bytes team has always had a strong affection for Memphis blues, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that the new CD from the Daddy Mack Blues Band is our Surprise of the month feature. One of the better CDs from Chicago's Magic Slim and the Teardrops was released in the early 1980s on Rooster Blues, and is now available on CD for the first time.
