Trading News

The 2014 postseason trading period is off!

The Sluggers have already dealt the 2nd overall pick to the Bats for the 10th overall pick and Alcides Escobar.

The rebuilding Scorpions were also busy with a flurry of trades, sending away Brandon McCarthy, Anthony Varvaro, Trevor Plouffe and Jeurys Familia, primarily for 2015 and 2016 draft picks in addition to young pitchers Danny Duffy, Rex Brothers and Alexi Ogando.

The Empire look like they are going to be a force in 2015 by trading its 2016 1st and 3rd rounders to the Commuters James Shields and Dan Haren.

More to come!
